Cookie Policy

EFFECTIVE 24 AUGUST 2026·VERSION 1.0·DELAWARE, USA·REVIEW ANNUALLY

This Cookie Policy explains how Miaste Stack Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on miastestack.com. For broader information about how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy. Questions? Email privacy@miastestack.com.

— 01 / WHAT ARE COOKIES

What are cookies.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — settings, preferences, session state — so the site works properly and improves over time.

Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and tags. This policy covers all of these under the general term "cookies."

— 02 / COOKIES WE USE

What we use and why.

We group cookies into three categories:

Essential cookies. Required for the site to function. Includes session identifiers, security tokens, and storage of your cookie preferences themselves. These cannot be disabled through our cookie preferences — disabling them would prevent core parts of the site from working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing you with a functional website.

Analytics cookies. Optional. Help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are viewed, how long people stay, which links are clicked. All data is aggregated and anonymized. We use this to improve content and structure. Off by default until you consent.

Functional cookies. Optional. Remember non-essential preferences across visits — for example, your light-or-dark theme choice. Off by default until you consent.

— 03 / MANAGING PREFERENCES

Managing your preferences.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Preferences" in the footer. The preferences panel lets you enable or disable Analytics and Functional cookies independently. Essential cookies cannot be disabled through this panel.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies from specific sites. Note that blocking essential cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working.

Instructions for common browsers:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
— 04 / THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Third-party cookies.

Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use to operate the site — for example, analytics providers or embedded content. When present, these cookies are subject to the third party's own privacy and cookie policies.

Third parties we may use:

  • Analytics providers (only if you have consented to Analytics cookies)
  • Content delivery networks (essential — for delivering the site itself)
  • Payment processors (only on pages where payment is initiated — none on the current marketing site)

We do not sell information collected by cookies to any third party.

— 05 / DO NOT TRACK

Do Not Track.

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" signal that tells websites you do not want to be tracked. There is no consistent industry standard for how sites should respond to this signal. Our approach: we honor Do Not Track by treating it as an explicit refusal of Analytics and Functional cookies, equivalent to selecting "Essential Only" in our cookie preferences panel.
